compare_providers
Compare published insurance providers
Retrieve a published, sourced provider comparison. Provider aliases and reversed ordering resolve to the one canonical comparison. Optional coverage (for example "cyber", "D&O" or "workers comp") returns the coverage-line comparison for that pair when one is published; the response lists every available line comparison for the pair. Optional need runs a bounded editorial judgment over that page only; it does not invent a ranking or a purchase recommendation.

Get a published Spot page
Retrieve a complete published page by canonical path, including /industries, industry pillars and vertical guides at /industries/{slug}, their FAQs at /industries/{slug}/{question}, provider profiles, comparisons, reviews, scores, rankings, and methodology. Industry pages include parent and vertical links; lists are complete even when the website collapses them. Drafts, customer-specific guides, submissions, and unknown paths are unavailable.

Get a published provider Spot Score
Retrieve a published reliability assessment and Spot Score for one provider. Provider aliases resolve to the canonical assessment. This is an editorial score for a stated role and scope, not an AM Best rating or a recommendation. Optional need runs a bounded editorial judgment over that assessment only.

get_rankings
Get published provider rankings
Retrieve the current published Spot Score rankings. Broker scores and Carrier & MGA scores are ranked separately; the directory also shows a combined score, the average of the two. Partial scores and unrated assessments keep their qualifications. Use search_provider_reliability for provider, score, and status filters. Optional need runs a bounded editorial judgment over the published tables only.

Search provider Review Scores
Search published provider reviews by query, Review Score range, and rating availability; sort alphabetically or by displayed Review Score. Scores equally weight eligible source ratings on a 10-point scale and use an approximate academic conversion for BBB grades. Use get_provider_reviews for source-level evidence.
